The Hong Kong Coalition calls upon all co-founders

to actively participate in the Universal Community Testing Programme

To the Co-Founders of Hong Kong Coalition,

The COVID-19 epidemic continues with a third wave erupting in Hong Kong. Under the warm care and assistance of the State, the HKSAR Government launched the Universal Community Testing Programme (UCTP). It involved commissioning three mainland testing companies in Hong Kong, installing the “Fire Eye Laboratory”, and making careful arrangements for large-scale voluntary testing in the city.

Launched on September 1, the UCTP provided free testing services to the public at 141 community testing centres to identify asymptomatic COVID-19 patients and cut off the transmission chain in the community. The Coalition appeals to all co-founders to participate in the UCTP to fight the pandemic and revitalise the economy together.

Our more than 1,500 co-founders are all outstanding individuals in their respective industries or community leaders. We hope you would lead your colleagues or members in your community to take part in the UCTP and promote everyone’s active participation. Partaking in the testing programme is for your peace of mind, for the sake of family members, friends and colleagues, and in line with the common interests of society. Only by uniting to fight the epidemic, actively participating, eliminating source infection, and cutting off the invisible transmission chain can society return to normal and put the economy back on the right track.

We appreciate your support!

Yours sincerely,

Tam Yiu-chung
